travel cruising the world apollon II greek islands and turkey
In 1978, as part of a larger organized tour of Europe, Lynn and I took our first cruise.
This was our first trip to Europe and the only one we were able to share with my parents.
We boarded the Apollon II in Athens (Pireus) for a 7 day excursion of the Greek isles and Turkey.
By today's standards, the Apollan II was a relatively small ship and was already quite old at the time of the sailing.
I remember very little about our stateroom and thus assume it was quite simple.
Still, judging by the smiles on our faces, we were prefectly happy...

Looking back from today's perspective, that pool looks pretty primative.
